Designer Spotlight: Madalynne Intimates

You might have spotted our fabulous independent designer Madalynne has a gorgeous range of lingerie, activewear and dressmaking patterns! What better excuse to focus our blog this week on her and her beautiful makes?

Hailing from Philadelphia, Madalynne wasn’t always a creative type, preferring science at school. Later inspired by her mother, who sadly passed away when Madalynne was in her final year of high school, Madalynne’s interest in sewing was sparked when she found her mother’s old sewing machine.

Fast forward around five years, and Madalynne now has a range of lingerie with Urban Outfitters, as well as a pattern range right here at Simplicity!

Our Madalynne highlights

Madalynne’s aim is to produce lingerie which is as beautiful as it is functional – and we think she’s nailed it with her Simplicity patterns! Stitchers may be apprehensive about creating their own lingerie, but it couldn’t be easier with her range.

Every pattern includes a video sewalong to guide you through every step.

Designs come with complete with instructions on how to determine your bra size!

The patterns include a phenomenal size range! Her latest pattern includes a size XS – 5X and bust cup size A – J sewing pattern.
