Vogue 1723 Pattern Details
Vogue 1723 is a very loose-fitting dress dress. It has sleeve lining which assists in creating the beautiful bellowing balloon sleeve. The collar extends into ties with a slit opening at the back neck making it easy to get on and off. There are no fastenings in this make which makes it an easy sew, perfect for a beginning sewers or experienced seamstress.

chrissyc79 made this beautiful floral version in material from Darn Cheap Fabrics which she wore to the Oaks Day Lunch in Melbourne and the Fashions on the Field Competition on Oaks Day were she made the final 12!
Created by _sewmehow_ in a floral print linen from Sckafs Fabrics that she wore at Brisbane Frocktails this version without the collar and necktie is the perfect example of how you can make a pattern your own.
miriamjessief made this bright pop of colour in the short length version with some creative sourcing of the material, a Gorman Clothing Doona Cover!
two.sewing.sisters created this full length version in a John Kaldor Arian Burn Out Sheer Chiffon Fabric from Minerva and back the bodice with a white lining.
suechinglascelles created this fantastic fuchsia version with love heart embellishments made in the same fabric to wear to the True Love Luncheon in Brisbane.
This stunning full length magenta was made by sewbrunswick in linen from The Fabric Collective Brisbane and was worn for a fabulous birthday celebration.
dettispaghetti made to this full length printed version with matching beret to the Australian Turf Club Champions Day and won the Longines Prize for Elegance.
groovygreylook turned this printed silk from Darn Cheap Fabrics in the cropped version of Vogue 1723 for her daughter to wear to registry office to get married, what a playful wedding dress!
