Introducing maker Liliana Birchall

“Selecting my favourite dress patterns was no easy task—it felt like judging a best-dressed Fashions on the Field competition with endless stunning options! I’m not a professionally trained dressmaker by any means, but sewing is a delightful hobby I cherish, creating pieces for myself, my daughter, and granddaughters.

Just over a year before the Covid-19 pandemic, I discovered a wonderful woman volunteering to teach sewing at her local church. I eagerly joined her class and learned the basics of pattern work and other sewing techniques. Unfortunately, the lockdown forced her to stop teaching, so I’ve continued my sewing journey through online tutorials.

I’ve also since the pandemic,  I developed a passion for millinery, adding another creative outlet to my repertoire.”
