Pattern Spotlight: jumpsuit sewing patterns
The jumpsuit trend seems to have exploded this summer and we are totally on board with it. The mornings that you don’t know which garments to combine are over, this one-piece is a quick and easy fix!
There are currently so many gorgeous overalls and jumpsuit sewing patterns on our site you can be sure to find one that suits your style. To choose favourites is impossible, but we have gathered some patterns that we think you would like. Read to the end to see even more of our gorgeous designs.
Pattern: Know Me 2008.

Designed by Ella of Handmade Millennial, these wide leg jumpsuits feature twist front detail, deep V-neck, side seam pockets and invisible back zipper. Options include long or short flutter sleeves and full or cropped length.
Pattern: Butterick 6566.

Combine a few of the latest trends; a jumpsuit and an off the shoulder neckline. Apart from the stunning neckline the pattern features a loose fitting bodice which is cinched in with elastic at the waist, and a more fitted bottom half with pockets!
Pattern: Simplicity 8907.

Like the look of a boiler suit? This is the pattern for you! It has massive pockets and the centre front fastening plus cinched in waist are really the trend of the moment.
Pattern: McCall’s 7402.

This might look like it is the world’s comfiest dress, but it’s actually the world’s comfiest jumpsuit! This fabulous style would work really well on holiday as a beach cover up, or how about a casual pool party? This pattern is an easy sew, perfect for beginners.
Pattern: New Look N6616.

This simple yet beautiful silhouette is easy to dress up or down. It’s stitched with waist ties in the centre back seam which adds a special touch to this pattern.
Pattern: Vogue V1524.

Designed by Rebecca Wallace this jumpsuit features a party at the back! It is close-fitting through the bodice with an open back, buckled back band, a stand-up collar, and an exposed zipper closure. The semi-fitted trousers have two back welt pockets and side-front pockets. Stunning!
Pattern: Burda 6408.

Here is a nice and airy summery jumpsuit to show off a sun tan or to wear over a T-shirt. Sew these loose-fitting overalls with plenty of room and an optional drawstring waist.
