About this product

Lined corsets with steel boning have back lacing, grommets and shoulder straps tied on with corded trim or ribbon. Waist length corset with slightly rounded basque front is finished with bias binding. Long line corset with basque waistline has contrast lined skirt, matching or contrast binding, back invisible zipper and corded trim embellishments. See envelope back for more information. The Madalynne x Simplicity S9974 is a corset pattern that is inspired by 17th century stays. Both the bodice and the dress are fun sewing projects for all levels. It combines classic silhouettes and sewing techniques of stays and Victorian corsets. This pattern does not provide waist reduction like a normal foundation corset and is meant to be worn as outerwear for cosplay, events, fairs, and more.
